IT Domain Architect Supply Chain
Function:
Barco is seeking for a skilled and motivated IT Domain Architect Supply Chain to join our SAP team. The IT Domain Architect is within the Supply Chain domain responsible to design the future state of the solution landscape based on experience and knowledge of the business and technology market context and in line with the enterprise architectural vision and roadmap. We are looking for someone with a broad knowledge of the Supply Chain domain - SC Planning, Logistics, Manufacturing, Operations.
After our move to SAP S/4HANA, we want to evolve to a fit2standard and clean core based on industry best practices. The IT domain architect plays a crucial role to safeguard this evolution.
Responsibilities:
- Design the future state of the solution landscape based on experience and knowledge of the business and technology market context and in line with the enterprise architectural vision and roadmap
- capture and prioritize the business demands and requirements in your business domain
- lead translation of the business requirements into solutions, while keeping the balance between architectural fit, long term viability and the possibility to stick to standard processes
- Responsible for the end-to-end process within Supply Chain, across technologies/solutions
- Drive the delivery of projects, releases and changes to make sure the business demands are delivered conform with the original approved business requirements
- Liaises with stakeholders ensuring their interests are included in upcoming releases
- together with the business stakeholders, co-create the functional business cases for new projects and business solutions
Qualifications:
- Master degree in Computer Science, Engineering or specific to the Supply Chain domain or equivalent
Experience:
- Deep understanding of business processes within Supply Chain
- >5 years of relevant business experience
- >5 years of relevant experience in ICT

- Working across technologies, keeping a holistic and long term view on the overall system
- Can make decision without always knowing all parameters, or in cases with a lot of variables
